The film
Two longtime rivals encounter a mysterious woman offering eternal youth, giving their competition a supernatural complication. Meryl Streep, Bruce Willis, Goldie Hawn and Isabella Rossellini lead the cast.
Editorial direction
The review should assess how performance, physical comedy and effects serve the rivalry. Does the treatment of beauty and aging develop into pointed satire, or does the film rely chiefly on escalating gags? Deliberate exaggeration needs to be evaluated on its own terms before any Corny DNA assessment is proposed.
Corny DNA
All six axes remain unscored. The comic premise alone does not establish the film's campiness, cult appeal or so-bad-it-is-good value.
